The GYA Foundation’s 22nd Anniversary Silent Auction

The GYA Foundation’s
22nd Anniversary Silent Auction

Saturday, January 9th 2016
Fairhope Yacht Club
2016 GYA Winter Meeting

The GYA Foundation was incorporated in December of 1992 and the first meeting was held in March of 1993. The Foundation was recognized as 501 (c) (3) Corporation August 27th, 1993. Since that time with the great support of the GYA Clubs in the Foundation has grown an asset base exceeding $150,000 while providing support to sailing through disbursements and the handling of donations in excess of $146,000! The silent auction held every year at the Annual Winter Meeting is a significant source of funding for the Foundation.

Your help is needed to make this year’s GYA Foundation Silent Auction the best ever!

We are requesting that each Commodore bring at least one item to the Winter Meeting in Fairhope that can be included in the bidding. These can come from you, or from another member of your club (artisans, business owners, etc. who might contribute an item or gift certificate for goods/services), or a public vendor.

In past years, we have had boating equipment, jewelry, trips, dinner, art work, and many other interesting items! In January 2015 the Foundation raised over $2,500.00.

NO USED PERSONAL ITEMS, PLEASE!

Proceeds benefit the GYA Foundation and support junior sailing and new race official certification!

Please contact Cyndi Moncrieff (228) 875-1475 or camocean@aol.com, with your item information or drop your items at the front desk at Fairhope Yacht Club.
